The Underbelly of Meaning 
 
The great underbelly of meaning… the 
dark matter that holds everything together
is not found in the spectacular achievements 
of the few. 
 
It remains hidden in the obvious 
 
Unseen by virtue of ubiquity
it resides in little shared moments
of kindness, laughter, and delight. 
 
Moments so common as to be invisible
unless you happen to be looking for them…
 
Then you see them everywhere.
