Helen Gillet and James Singleton rehearse

Cellist Helen Gillet and bassist James Singleton recorded the first part of their forthcoming acoustic DUO album at the Marigny Opera House on March 5, 2013. Photographer Jason Kruppa dropped by during warm ups to shoot a few images as well as a video of some of the improvisation.

Gillet and Singleton will be recording a second concert for their album on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 4 p.m. at the Marigny Opera House. To attend this private invite concert, please RSVP to booking@helengillet.com.
