The poetic city: “Once Again”

Feb 23, 2023 • Creative Writing

Nola is too good to be true, and there’s always a new discovery in our “once again…”

trying to guess
what I’ll discover today
that I’ve known all along
and will forget again
tomorrow.

The G.R.O.W.W. program provides many benefits for its participants, including allowing older women to act as mentors to the young women who participate in the program and giving the young women a space where they can open up and be honest without judgement.
