What’s Coming Next  1/31/2020
 
I don’t know what’s coming next… 
 
None of us do.
 
This year we may be hit with another Katrina …
Or, we may be spared because a butterfly 
changed the direction of its flight at the last moment. 
 
Living is such a complicated business 
with innumerable contingencies, 
impossible to predict with any real certainty
 
Except, of course, that anything that has a beginning 
must have an end …
 
Both of which will remain forever enshrouded in mystery.
