Visit with Miss Helen: I Fumble as I Rush 12/14/12
Helen is in a state: agitated, humiliated,
angry to be imprisoned in her chair.
Helen tells me she is “no good.”
She exposes her midriff
just to make the point
that she is nothing …
nothing anymore!
So, I fumble as I rush
to get the music to her ears…
The music that I know will
dissolve her troubles,
kiss her soul,
and awaken again
the sweetness of life.
