Helen teaches me the virtue of angel wings
And takes me on my virgin flight.
The dissolution of cells that robs her memory
Strips bare the distractions of self
While the innocence of pure being propels her…
And with her I am carried in a tandem jump.
Upward,
Upward,
Upward …
We soar with the muse
Into a universe of accelerated expansion
That presages the defeat of entropy
By the triumph of the Spirit.
