Wednesday, September 26/Eiffel Society (2040 Saint Charles Ave): Trepwork is back for September. “Trepwork for good” – a philanthropic fall event series hosted by trepwise & Eiffel Society — highlights two local non-profits monthly with Pay it Forward Happy Hour events to increase awareness and fundraising opportunities for each participating organization. September’s “trepwork for good” event will have a “Community Sustainability” theme and will showcase two sustainability-driven non-profits, Friends of Lafitte Greenway and Urban Conservancy. To honor these non-profits, Happy hour prices will be available all night long with $3 beers, $5 house wine, $6 well drinks and signature cocktails.Come thirsty as 20 percent of the bar proceeds will be split by both organizations, which will also be collecting suggested donations at the door. Each organization will have the opportunity to address the crowd and will have their own fundraising activities on-site. Attendance is open to all ages and is free, but they want you to register on Eventbrite.

Friday, September 28/The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel (130 Roosevelt Way): As The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel celebrates its 125th anniversary, it once again raises a glass to the always bold and barrier-breaking women of New Orleans during its annual luncheon and recreation of the “Stormin’ of the Sazerac.” The yearly event honors the group of badass ladies who first stormed the hotel’s Sazerac Bar in 1949 demanding equality, and a stiff drink, at a time when women were only allowed to be served at the bar on Mardi Gras day. We drink to those women, and now you can too. The hotel invites all women to join in the one-of-a-kind celebration encompassing libations, cuisine and entertainment in the lap of Roosevelt luxury. Festivities will take place in the famous Blue Room, the elegant Fountain Lounge and, most notably, the world-renowned Sazerac Bar. It all starts at 1:00 PM (liquid lunch, ladies), tickets are $59, and you can purchase them here

Friday, September 28/Besthoff Sculpture Garden (City Park): For the 14th year, the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) will celebrate LOVE in the Garden, and this is a love fest of art, food, drink, and nature. LOVE in the Garden kicks off with the Patron Party at 7:00 PM with entertainment by the Storyville Stompers. The Patron Party is followed by the Garden Party at 8:00 PM with entertainment by The
Boogie Men. The Late Night Party begins at 10:00 PM, and partygoers can dance to New Orleans’
favorite party starter, DJ OttO, until midnight. While all of this is going on, guests will also be indulging in 60 of New Orleans’ finest restaurants, and craft cocktails from New Orleans’ top bartenders as they vie for first place in the 5th annual LOVE Cocktail Challenge. Ticket prices vary from $50 to $10,000 (we’ve always wanted to write that), and you can purchase them here

Saturday, September 29/New Orleans Healing Center (2372 St. Claude): In partnership with the New Orleans Healing Center, photoNola is bringing a cyanotype workshop to New Orleans. What is a cyanotype? Think blueprints. Think photography. Actually, don’t overthink it too much because it’s loads of fun. The workshop, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the New Orleans healing Center from 10:00 AM and go until 4:00 PM. You can drop in for a chunk of time and make your very own cyanotype. For more information, you can check out their event here

Sunday, September 30/The streets of New Orleans: Engines are going to be revving against cancer this weekend. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR), a stylish, international event, will rev the motorcycle engines in New Orleans to bring awareness to and raise funds for men’s mental health and suicide prevention programs, as well as prostate cancer research. The funds raised are invested by DGR partners the Movember Foundation, the world’s largest men’s health organization. If you ride a vintage or classic-styled motorcycle, you can participate by signing up here (this is also where you can make a donation).
