Riot Ten: Hype or Die Tour

On Saturday, November 13th and Sunday, November 14th, the Riot Ten “Hype or Die Tour” will be taking over the city of New Orleans at Republic Nola. The event begins at 11pm, but make sure to get there early and grab a great spot when the doors open at 10pm! For a night of great music and electric performances by YDG, JEANIE, WAYVZ, and special guest MUSTDIE!, you can enjoy your experience at the low cost of just $15-$30! This 18+ event is general admission only, with balcony access and the promise of great drinks and dancing through the whole night.

 

Sh!ts & G!ggles Comedy Open Mic

New Orleans presents the Sh!ts & G!ggles Comedy Open Mic on November 4th through December 3rd at the Lagniappe Lounge for Comedy Open Mic! The event is completely open to the public with free general admissions tickets and the opportunity to embrace the downtown New Orleans environment just a few steps off of Frenchmen St. Whether you just want to come and have a laugh or hop on stage and try out your comedic material for a vibrant audience, check out the event on the first and third Thursday of every month for a great time and a big laugh!

New Orleans Film Festival

On Friday, November 5th through Sunday, November 21st, the New Orleans Film Society will be hosting the annual film festival. Starting on the 5th, the festival will take place both virtually and in-person until the 14th, when the festival will be strictly in-person. Tickets range from as low as $26 with standard admission to all access passes for $250 with early access to reservations. The festival will be featuring film artists from southern features to Black stories and LGBTQ+ cinema. Come join New Orleans in supporting up and coming filmmakers and enjoy a night of cinematic masterpieces.

1st Gen Presents Concert Run By Tulane Students

On Thursday, November 11th, the Hangar New Orleans will be hosting a concert performed by Tulane students, featuring G-HAAS, Bones, Ashley, Quino, Hernan, Papi Chulo, and El Chapo. This event is a platform for creative music artists to share their content with the public and provide a night of embracing fearless talent and some great music. Doors open at 9pm but make sure to arrive early to get a great spot by the DJ booth for the full experience! Ticket prices range from $25-$40 and are selling out quickly, so if you want to support your fellow Tulane students or just want to enjoy a night of great music, grab your ticket while there’s still time!

Tulane Parents Weekend Paddle Trip

Tulane University’s Family Weekend 2021 is providing a nature-embracing weekend with shuttles to the St. John Bayou for kayak paddling on Saturday, November 14th! Come by the Tulane Campus Reily Student Recreation Center at 9am to hop on a university provided shuttle to Bayou St. John for a relaxing day with your family! Take in the sun’s rays and grab a kayak or canoe and explore the iconic waterway at your own leisurely pace. The event is open to Tulane students and families, with tickets pricing at around $35. Parents and children over 15 are welcome to join the trip! Transportation, leadership and equipment will all be provided by trusting and fun Tulane affiliates!
