I Call It Meditation

Every day I give myself an hour

where I don’t have to do anything…

Anything at all.

I don’t have pay attention to my breath;

but I do when I remember to….

I don’t have to write down my thoughts;

but I do when need to…

I don’t even have to pet the cat

unless I want to (which I generally do)…

I call it mediation because its an hour

when I don’t have to do anything…

And I am always amazed by how much

I get done when I am doing nothing…

Nothing at all.
