we could all get along
without racism and despair

We would live as brothers
in a place
where we cared for one another

to fight for our country
by doing what nobody else could do
allowing all to become free
We must thank Martin Luther King Jr.
for he showed us how to fight
without the use of violence,
teaching us wrong from right
Forever a symbol of life and growth
Together we stand
To the king we owe
As he gives us his hand
Reminding all
that we stand together
showing us the value
of his endeavors
