On The Family Trip: At The Zenith

Safely centered in the

Bounty of the trip,

Luxuriating in the riches

Of the moment,

I marvel at my good luck.

Even as I accept

The certainty that

It cannot last and the

Inevitability that it will

Yield to something else,

I am content knowing that

This moment is real

And it’s happening…

As real as anything else to follow.
