Musings Under The Oaks : An Earthly Being In Awe

The more I forget
the greater the pleasure
in what I remember.
The more corruption I see
the more I enjoy
the innocent play of children.
As my body yields to age
the greater my delight
in youth whizzing by.
And day by day
I become evermore in awe
that there is anything at all,
much less this.
