Here is the final take of Iceberglandia. The lady got bigger … because she’s in front and because she was so small before that she could stake no claim.
I interviewed Evert Witte last week, a painter who’s been doing this for an awfully long time, and he says that he regularly paints over what he painted the day before. I should have done that weeks ago.
I’m clueless, and not freely clueless like I was in kindergarten. Knowingly, willingly clueless. It’s been a swell fiasco.
Painting is very hard but picking up the garbage in New Orleans in August is much harder. So I ain’t complaining, I’m just crying Uncle Chutzpah.
