‘Most Talkative’ author has a lot to talk about

Andy Cohen signs books in New Orleans.

Andy Cohen is a polarizing figure.

There are those that think he is God’s gift to the universe (like A-list friends Mark Consuelos, Kelly Ripa, SJP, Anderson Cooper, and yours truly, to name a few), and then there are those who say he single-handedly ruined modern television with franchises like The Real Housewives and his latest series, Princesses of Long Island.

I stand firmly alongside those who love and adore him (as well as those guilty pleasures on my DVR), so when I heard he was going to be at the Garden District Bookstore on Monday night, I couldn’t be anywhere else. I was thrilled to get him to sign my copy of his book, Most Talkative, and to get answers to some very important questions.

Questions like:

  • “Has Kim Zolziack’s wig ever fallen off during taping?”
  • “When can we expect a Real Housewives of New Orleans?”
  • “Have you ever hooked up with Million Dollar listing star and nemesis Jeff Lewis?”

While there is no sign of a “RHONO”  (Real Housewives of New Orleans) in the near future (“There aren’t enough for you already?” he asked in response), it is obvious how much he loves New Orleans.

Top Chef New Orleans is currently in production, and Mr. Cohen did not turn down the idea of bringing the club house to NOLA during Mardi Gras. He has been partying until all hours on Bourbon Street with a gaggle of cohorts and enjoying some of our city’s finest meals at establishments like Restaurant August. He likes to dance with bestie Kelly Ripa and is persistent that it is far dirtier than anything you’ve seen on Dirty Dancing.

As for Jeff Lewis, they haven’t hooked up …. yet.

Most Talkative is now available in paperback with a special bonus chapter, and you can catch Andy mazel-ing it up on Watch What Happens Live Sunday’s-Thursday’s at 10 p.m. CST on Bravo.
