UNO documentary: Cinema Reset

Catch Cinema Reset while you can: The innovative new-media exhibit at the Contemporary Arts Center closes on Sunday, Jan. 20. Presented on multiple monitors and projection surfaces, Cinema Reset’s multimedia artists and curators offer a constantly evolving stream of cinematic content, highlighted by intermittent larger-than-life projections.

In this documentary short, UNO film student Kiarra Barthelemy talks to co-curator Blake Bertuccelli about the experimental cinematic project.

You can also support Cinema Reset by voting for Lindsey, Trevor, and Blake’s Super Service Challenge entry. The Super Service Challenge will be giving away 1-million dollars to non-profits before the upcoming Super Bowl. The team is trying to win some of the money for the New Orleans Film Society and Cinema Reset to host alternative cinema making workshops like those featured in Kiarra’s video. To vote, click here. More “10” votes” means more support towards the NOFF and future alternative cinema in New Orleans.

The Film and Theatre Department of UNO and NolaVie present this series of short films produced by the students in Laszlo Fulop’s Introduction to Documentary class. Read Renee Peck’s column about the program here.
