BUKU Music Project announces 2013 dates

The 2013 BUKU Music Project || March 8 & 9 @ Mardi Gras World

The wheels for BUKU 2013 are in motion and organizers announced the dates for next year’s festival today on their facebook page. BUKU strategically coincides with college spring break and leads up to the Ultra Music Festival (which is two weeks after BUKU; last year it was the week after), making it easy routing for the international DJ’s and electronic artists making their away across the U.S.

After last year’s overwhelming success, we’re expecting this year’s fest to be bigger, better and BUKU’er than the inaugural event that featured Skrillex, Big K.R.I.T., SBTRKT and Big Gigantic among others. LMB NOLA’s wish list for 2013: STS9, Shpongle, Bonobo and Orbital?! One can dream. The first round of artists comes out on August 22nd.

We’ll have the details as soon as they are up. Check out our coverage of BUKU 2012 here.
