OK, Tales of the Cocktail is over, the mixology mavens have left and there’s at least a week before the next local festival, which means the town will be a little quieter this weekend and the restaurateurs will be thrilled to see you.

And, since most of us probably can’t get to Italy this year but wish we could, we say go to the Quarter; it’s as close to Europe as you’ll find, and mangia, mangia here.
