Michelle Friedstadt is a volunteer journalist for ViaNolaVie completing her final semester as an undergraduate majoring in Communication at Tulane University in New Orleans. She also serves as The Recording Academy's local Chapter Representative of GRAMMY U, is the business manager for New Orleans's alt-rock, indie punk band The Bummers, and works for Brew House Music, a local sync licensing company. She works local music festivals including French Quarter Festival and New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. After graduating in May, Michelle will continue to pursue a career in the music industry in New Orleans.
