Preservation takes on a whole new life at the Freeport-McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center

The Freeport-McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center, located on the West Bank of New Orleans, is a 1,000 acre plot of land dedicated to research and preservation. What can you find here? A frozen zoo. A glow-in-the-dark cat. And hundreds of animals who are endangered due to injury, loss of habitat, or human colonization effects.
